Marco Turco

Breganze

A great friend and authentic Vignaiolo, Marco grew up in the lively nature surrounding his parents' house: animals, vegetables and a vine garden. After the early winemaking experience with his father, Marco spent a few seasons of practice with local producers, spiced with a couple of years behind the counter of a natural vineria.

In 2018, finally able to start his own project, Marco rented an old plot of Vespaiola on the gentle hills of Breganze, between the Brenta River and the Asiago plateau in Central Veneto. An area of volcanic origin, with soils composed of basalts and tuffs with high mineral content. Marco is currently farming four small parcels, planted with the locals Vespaiola and Gropello, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and some Pinot Noir.

The Cantina is located in Bressanvido, a sleepy village known for  Transumanza (seasonal migration of flocks, herds and shepherds), a few kilometres from Breganze. In this narrow space, Marco works with minimal intervention, using all types of vessels - stainless steel, fibreglass, concrete and glass.

Deep and textural, Marco wines are closely linked to their land, combining energy and tension.
