The exceptional Riserva from Mattia is a blend of sixty per cent Pinot Noir and forty per cent Chardonnay. Destemmed and slowly pressed to concrete before six months in barrique and five years on the lees in bottle. Showing hints of white almond, tropical fruit and gentle spices, this is a sparkling wine of incredible poise and elegance. The palate is an intriguing mix of velvety texture and refreshing acidity, with smooth bubbles and typical salinity from the limestone soil. Made from the 2017 vintage mainly with fifteen per cent of reserve wine. Disgorged in March 2023. No sulphur added and no dosage.
