This remarkable expression of Montepulciano comes from a selection of their best fruit. The wine is fermented on the skins for three weeks in barrels, before fifteen months of ageing in a single thirty hectolitres cask. After a year in the bottle, this wine shows incredible finesse and poise. A deep palate defined by wild strawberry, blood orange, iodine and oriental spice. The ripe, juicy tannins lead to a satisfying, mouth-filling sip.
