Another new entry, a blend of seventy per cent Slarina and thirty Nebbiolo from the vines that surround the Cascina. The former is pressed directly while the latter is destemmed and left to infuse for five days before pressing off to concrete for six months. From a fresh vintage, this lively red bursts with notes of wild berries, blood orange and gentle spice, fringed by little tannins and refreshing minerals.
