Tocai Friulano from cru Montona on the windy Quarin hill, facing the Slovenian Brda. A beautiful vineyard surrounded by forest, planted in 1968 on soils rich in limestone with fossils. Harvested in the second half of September, the grapes were stomped by feet and placed in a concrete vat to rest for eleven months before bottling. The balanced vintage has rendered a wine of unique charm—delicate notes of camomille, fresh herbs and mandarine fringed by elegant texture and remarkable salinity. Simply one of the prettiest expressions of this local variety.
