Montepulciano from a single plot in the village of Mozzagrogna, thirty-year-old vines planted on dark clay. Half whole bunch and half de-stemmed fermentation for four days, then pressed off to stainless steel for eight months. The nose screams with black raspberries, balsamic herbs and smoke. A soft palate with smooth tannins and a savoury aftertaste.
