Grignolino from a small plot planted over pale clay in Odalengo Grande, three hundred meters above sea level. The wine ferments for two weeks on the skins before being pressed to concrete for one year. From a particularly hot and dry vintage, this wine combined Mediterranean notes of dark olives and prunes with fresh blood orange and pomegranate. The complex structure displays textural tannins and lively minerals.
