Fruit of a generous vintage in Central Veneto, this muscular Cabernet Franc comes from a tiny plot planted on dark clay and limestone in the village of Vigo, ten kilometres east of Vicenza. Harvested at the beginning of October 2021, the grapes spent three weeks on the skins and rest for twenty months in stainless steel before bottling. A beautifully open wine that shows a perfect balance between maturity and liveliness, displaying notes of dark cherries, plums and earth, with ripe tannins and a compelling balsamic breath.
