At the beginning of July 2019, a heavy hailstorm hit the area of Cormons, drastically reducing the crop and posticipating the maturity of the fruits. This wine is the blend of what's left on the vines of the three cru farmed by Nikolas, fermented on the skins for five days and aged in a mix of concrete and oak barrels for one year. After a long rest in the bottle, this wine now shines with a vivid gold hue in the glass, offering a kaleidoscopic perfume of yellow blossoms, candied citrus, saffron, nuts and stones. The palate is immense, with an impossible complexity of flavours carried by smooth tannins and a lively minerality.
