We are delighted to start the new year with the beautiful wines from Silvia Tezza of Il Roccolo di Monticelli.
Based on the southern hills of the Vallata di Mezzane in Verona, since 2015 Silvia has farmed her ancient vineyard by hand, using biodynamic preparations to fertilise the soil and herbal infusions to prevent vine diseases.
Focusing on the indigenous varieties of Soave and Valpolicella, Silvia produces impossibly fragrant wines for this area. This latest release includes a restock of the gorgeous Monticelli Rosso 2022 and Monticelli Bianco 2022, a small amount of ..di Rado 2021, Passo Dopo 2019 and the new O'Belix 2023.
Alongside the wine, we received some three-litre pouches of the superb olive oil produced by Silvia with his partner Kisha of Impronta Agricola.
