From a beautiful enclosed vineyard on the hills of the Vallata di Mezzane, between the Valpolicella and Soave, the new line-up from Silvia Tezza's Il Roccolo di Monticelli is here.
Since 2016 Silvia has farmed this piece of land using biodynamic practices and herbal infusions, avoiding chemicals in the field. In the last years, she's added different fruit plants, aromatic herbs, bee hives, goats and sheep, creating an enchanting and healthy environment, where biodiversity contributes to the quality of the fruits.
From the 2021 harvest, we received Bianco and Rosso, plus a small allocation of Garganega aged in amphora, oBelix. The two 2019 Riserva complete this range that we are excited to share.
