After a couple of exciting visits to the Colli Berici earlier this year, we are delighted to introduce the 2021 vintage from Davide Xodo.
Originally from Vicenza in Veneto, after school, Davide decided to study enological sciences in Toulouse. An experience that led him to work first in Bierzo and then in the Chianti Classico area for about a decade, before returning to his native land to start his project in 2018.
Davide farms around five hectares on the eastern side of the Colli Berici. A charming group of hills of sedimentary origin, composed of silt-clayey soils rich in limestone rocks, situated between the Little Dolomites and the Colli Euganei.
Fruit of a regular and generous vintage, the resulting wines are expressive and lively, showings an excellent ageing potential.
